Barnett Jones Wilson, LLC is a progressive thinking structural engineering design firm that believes in combining experience with new techniques to produce creative design solutions. The firm has two offices located in Alabama and one in Tennessee.

Our firm was founded 30 years ago when Bob Barnett had a vision of what the future of engineering would be. Realizing hand drafting would soon be obsolete, he left behind the way other engineering firms were operating and embarked down the path of computer based design. There were no drafting tables, no drafters, only the warm glow of computer screens. He started with one computer and drafting software serial number 44 and quickly grew to three computers in the first six months. Since that beginning we have grown to six partners, more computers than we can count, and 3-D modeling of structures with integrated design software. Our philosophy is there is a truly unique solution to every problem and our mission is to find that solution. The unique solutions are the ones that challenge our creativity, push us to the limits, and are fun to solve.

Barnett Jones Wilson is a certified Women Owned Business with engineering licenses in approximately 40 states. It is our mission to provide our clients with personalized service and to design economical, constructible solutions for all our projects.
